Artist's Description

35 Exposure HDR Panoramic – BEST VIEWED LARGE

Wollstonecraft Bay, also known as Berry Island, is a hidden treasure in suburban Wollstonecraft on Sydney’s North Shore. It’s a piece of combined parkland/bushland at the bottom of Shirley Rd in Wollstonecraft with plenty to keep the kids busy while also being the perfect place for adults to wind down and relax. It is located in a cul-de-sac and it is about a 10 minute walk downhill from Wollstonecraft train station. The uphill return walk is slighty longer than 10 mintues

Berrys Bay on the northern shore of Sydney Harbour, and this wonderful bay is threatened by a marina for millionaires
Technique: HDR 35 exposures taken in brackets of five exposures., the first bracket of five exposures tonemapped in photomatix, this process repeated 6 more times to create 7x 8bitt tiff files. The 7 tiff files then merged in circular panoramic in Photoshop Elements to form one Panoramic image tiff file. A slight contrast adjustment and sharpen in Capture NX, final file saved as tiff and jpg to upload to Red Bubble.

Equipment: Nikon D300, Nikon 18-200mm lens and Manfrotto Tripod
