Palm Beach, the jewel of the Northern Beaches, is the northernmost suburb of Sydney, less than an hour drive from the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the CBD. Nestled on a landmark peninsula, it is blessed with a unique contrast of lush evergreen bushland and beaches of golden sand, enveloped by the pristine blue waters of the Pacific Ocean and the calm sailing paradise of Pittwater. A unique environmental awareness blending breathtaking views with quaint cottages and palatial homes, ensures that Palm Beach will forever enjoy a lifestyle of relaxed and casual affluence.
Palm Beach also marks the northern extremity of Pittwater at the entrance to Broken Bay from the sea. It ends in a long spit with the ocean on one side and Pittwater on the other, leading to a knob called Barrenjoey. A not-too-difficult uphill walk ends at the historic Barrenjoey lighthouse with spectacular 360 degree views including Lion Island, an uninhabited rocky island resembling a resting lion which guards the entrance to Broken Bay, its northern arm Brisbane Water, and Pittwater.
And for those soap opera lovers , yes Palm Beach is the location of the long long long running TV Series “Home & Away” better known as “Summer Bay”.
The location is also well known as the location for movies , tv shows and TV Commercials.
Palm Beach is very close to my home about 10-15minutes away, also known as Palmie to locals

20 Bracketted image. Wow. The detail is so fine though. the colors are subtle, like farm land, yet it’s the beach. I love the composition, Philip.
thanks Frannie, with hdr less is best, i did have a bit of noise issues but was able to remove most with noise ninja

This is really lovely. Great composition too.
To take 20 shots and still retain the natural look and movement of the ocean is quite some achievement
Gorgeous, dreamy view! This is so gorgeous :o)
