55 Shots at Mona Vale - Mona Vale Beach, Sydney - The HDR Experience by

Technique: 55 Bracketted (Hand Held) images shot in groups of 5 exposures, each group of 5 exposures processed in Photomatix 3.26 to produce 1 × 8bit Tiff. This process repeated 11 times. Finally producing 11 Tiff images, these 11 images then stiched using Photoshop Elements 7 producing one final tiff image. The image contrast and sharpness was adjusted using Nikon Capture NX

Equipment: Nikon D300, Nikon 18-200mm lens all exposures were handheld

This shot was taken at dawn on the headland overlooking the northern Sydney beach of Mona Vale, its only 5 minutes from my house, yes i know it’s hard but someone has to live here !.

And for those in colder climates , this is autumn in Sydney.
