The Canberra Festival Balloon Spectacular, held over nine days from Saturday 6 until Sunday 14 March, will see over giant hot air balloons launched from the forecourt of Old Parliament House each morning.
The Balloon Spectacular has become an institution in the Canberra events calendar, and this year it is again guaranteed to provide an awe inspiring early morning sight. Spectators are sure to enjoy watching the balloons slowly expand to reveal their shape, before passing smoothly into the dawn sky

This is so rich with colour :o) If it wasn’t for the crippling vertigo, ballooning is something I’d like to try. It must feel so free and peaceful.
the basket is way to small and low for my taste lol

I did a 10 minute tethered ‘ride’ once and ever since I’ve wanted to have a real flight! Youve really caught the essence of it here Philip. Well done.
