Experiment in Light - Panoramic - Moods Of A City - THE HDR Experience by 


Well this is my first tentative steps into HDR Panoramic Photography. Be critical if you like, I couldnt resist this view yet again taken just before dawn as the harbour surface is not yet stirred by passing traffic.

The View from the 10th floor of a building in North Sydney.

Location: Sydney Harbour, Sydney Capital City State of New South Wales , Australia

Technique: 4 groups of 5 bracketted exposures, processed in Photomatix separately, then merged in Photoshop Elements 7.0

Equipment: Nikon D300, Nikon 18-200mm, Manfrotto Tripod, Cable Release

Philip Johnson is a Photographer located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Specialising in HDR photography his works have been shown in galleries,published in Tourism campaigns. His work will also be available as Jig Saws through Crown & Andrews

    Philip I can’t see a single thing wrong with capture. Outstanding and beautiful capture.Just one thing though, don’t you ever sleep very much,you can always get the right capture when every one else is in bed sleeping.lol
