Solitude - Walwa Victoria (Monochrome) - The HDR Experience by

BEST VIEWED LARGER

This taken at dawn at Jingellic NSW/Walwa Victoria , this view struck me as a similar landscape of images i have seen of Tuscany , so why not in the Snowy Mountains

This was taken on a recent visit to the Snowy Mountains area with Bev Woodman and Phil Woodman , i made a note to bring a Alarm clock for Phil Woodman next trip.

Technique: HDR 20 Bracketted Exposures tonemappeed in Photomatix and merged Photoshop Elements, Silver Effex Pro and Vivesa

Equipment: Nikon D300 Nikon 18-200mm

How I love brown. Your landscape is entrancing, as if some bit of theatre magic. Beautiful work, Philip!

Rather striking in monochrome Phil – it really brings out the sun rays. A reminder for the weekend about that alarm clock for ‘you know who’.

  • Thanks Bev , ive been fiddling with silver effex pro , i’ve always loved B&W PS I wonder if BIG BEN is available
