A Touch of Tuscany In The Snowy Mountains, Jingelic NSW/Walwa Victoria - The HDR Experience by

This taken at dawn at Jingellic NSW/Walwa Victoria , this view struck me as a similar landscape of images i have seen of Tuscany , so why not in the Snowy Mountains

This was taken on a recent visit to the Snowy Mountains area with Bev Woodman and Phil Woodman , i made a note to bring a Alarm clock for Phil Woodman next trip.

Technique: HDR 20 Bracketted Exposures tonemappeed in Photomatix and merged Photoshop Elements, Colour Effex Pro and Vivesa

Just beautiful Philip. Love the rays, the smooth hills, rows of trees and subtle lighting. The countryside is full of surprises!

  • Thanks Rosalie the more i look at the landscape, i wonder if the previous owners had visited tuscany at some stage, just the positioning of the Homestead the lines of trees. Actually now i think of it being on the Murray Flood Plain would have some benefits to have your homestead on a hill lol

Lots of homesteads are on hills in our countryside and the driveways are mostly tree-lined … if nothing else the elevation gives beautiful views!!!
