This shot was taken from Echo Point in the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area at sunset, it was created from 4 bracketed images using a Nikon D300 fitted with a Nikon 18-200mm. No filters were used.
The Blue Mountains are located 2 hours west of Sydney by road, also by train for visitors to Sydney, there are also organised day trips via motor coach that will take you to the area for the day…. though if you have the time spend a few days in the area.
You can see all the attractions, have a devonshire tea in one of the many teahouses, or sit on the edge of the valley that seems to go on forever, and listen to the birdlife. Bushwalking is a must !

The Blue Mountains i located West of Sydney , the shot is taken many 100’s metres up on a very popular lookout called Echo Point. SO you are looking out on the Jamieson & Megalong Valleys.
The Blue Mountains is so precious it is listed on the World Heritage Register
