    I have an old post card circa 1900 + called along the Black Spur, looks very much like this . very similar gums all over Vic I guess. great pic…

  • I love the Black Spur near Marysville, i havent been back since the Black Saturday fires so i know it well , This shot i believe is above Falls CReek.

    I used to live near by,well the Dandenongs, but it’s was easy to go there all or anytime. I haven’t seen Marysville though since the fires, we honeymooned in the old as it was even then in1958 guesthouse. have fun on your long service!
    [ Don’t come up along the pacific hwy way at the moment though.]:-)))
