But, Lithglo is happening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Here are some details
Next week don’t miss seeing Lithgow lit up as you’ve never seen it before on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Between 7-11pm each night take the opportunity to see a number of local attractions in a new light.
The giant pine in the Hoskins Church grounds will be all-a-glo with lights making it a tree to remember.
The twin rail viaducts running parallel to the Great Western Highway will be lit by a fantastic lighting display viewable from the highway and Cooerwull Road.
The Blast Furnace will fire up again under festive lights.
Or enjoy the creative talents of our local school students and see their short films and images of artworks projected in one of the vacant shop fronts the top end of Main Street.
While you’re at it, take a stroll along Main Street and enjoy the creative talents of our local retailers with their festive window displays. Then don’t forget to like your favourites in the ShopGlo competition on Council’s Facebook page.
Developing innovative promotional activities for the enjoyment of the community which encourage an increase in business activities in the town centres is part of Council’s strategy to Strengthen our Economy in the Community Strategic Plan 2025.
Further info will be posted on Council’s Facebook page as it becomes available including teaser images from the test on Wednesday night. http://www.facebook.com/LithgowCityCouncil
