story of a 11 year old boy that stole a horse in the late 1800’s he was sentenced to Beechworth lunatic asylum he was released at the age of 84
Philip Johnson replied
thanks Di
lighting was a bit hard, hit and miss, i did take a shot that i cant explain , we were in the tower and one of the rooms was where a girl had died. Well i was at the back of the group I fired a shot into a dark room and got a misty image . After that i was at the front of the group lol

I saw ECT once when I was training as a nurse and I swore I would never watch it again or have anything to do with that field of medicine. It is barbaric but hey, it works for some people so I can only speak from my experience of watching it. A fantastic image Philip xx
Philip Johnson replied
does it work for wizard of oz fans?
Philip Johnson replied
its a great spot to wander day and night, history heritage and dilapidated buildings.. old lunatic asylum now a university site
Sue Buckingham

when you leave a place that you think is haunted, you should shake salt on your right side, and pepper on your left ,,,you should also if possible rub margarine in to the soles of your feet , and get a local dog to lick it off,,,,,,,also play very loud music in to your camera just in case they hitched a ride in there,,,you cannot be to careful,,,and if all this fails ,,,,who you goin to call,,,not me
Kristin Reynolds

Gah… it looks like a screen shot from some sort of creepy video game… it’s even more disturbing to know that this is a real place… horrifically enough, they still practice Shock Therapy, calling it Electroconvulsive Therapy, although they use sedatives now to make it less painful.

Hey Phil, congrats for the arts page feature!

The wide angle distortion enhances the desperate, lonely, scariness of the location. Excellent photography!
