Wow Philip, this is amazing! Unbelievable that you can have all this on one picture and still it doesn’t look cluttered.

Ths would have to be one of my very favs of yours Philip – beautiful.

Excellent use of the HDR much much nicer than some of those building ones that looked a bit overworked and really cartoony this is fab and an instant fav!

REally Philip…do you see how much better the clarity is>>?? the amazing colors and the vibrancy?? this just makes your eyes pop and want to stare and see every detail, it is not noisy or overwhelming it does not look flat or like it came off a 3 color press…this is totally and completely a perfect perfect example of excellent HDR work

some of the ones I have seen that have been overworked or not bracketted properly look like the paper got caught when the litho was being printed and there is bleed which just looks soooo ummm sloppy. they look like someone has bad vision and is seeing in double or triple vision this photo though does NOT it is clear sharp mesmerizing detailed accurate and very pleasing to look at..of course this is a personal preference for myself maybe some peopel like the noisier photos. With all the reading up I have done on HDR and the professional examples I have seen this comes closest to what I viewed ..so therefore to me…this is PERFECT

A truly superior image. I like this point of view. It really encompasses so much of Sydney – the CBD, the Bridge, the waterfront units and the moored yachts. The subtle HDR works for me. It has brought out the beauty of the clouds.

Great shot Phillip, great choice of perspective. Obviously a magic spot to take the Bridge from but not one seen very often. This one provides foreground detail and a lot of the more popular perspectives dont. Excellent soft HDR work but mostly I like my HDRs like that so thats a personal thing. Brilliant sky colour, nice and soft. A lot of people here would have pushed that to look brighter thinking it would be better (but it wouldnt). Excellent clarity. Not many HDRs make it to my fave list but this one does.

This really is superb. The light is, of course, little short of divine, but it’s the masterful composition introducing order into the city scene that is so strking. Outstanding. From my London office I regularly talk to work colleagues in Sydney – I will think of this image whenever I speak to them next!

WOW Phillip this is beautiful….and this is still a beautiful addition to the group. THis is stupendous!

Wonderful image! I’ve never used Photomatix but I like the HDR images I’ve seen. I tried doing the same thing in Photoshop, using multiple exposures, a blank template and the paint brush tool. It seems to work very well. I just paint in the best exposures of the overall image, feathering my brush so the layers are un-noticeable.
