This shot taken using 5 Exposures generating one HDR image, taken at sunset from Berrys Bay on the Northern shore of Sydney Harbour.
For those visiting Sydney , Berrys Bay/Balls Head is easily accessable from by tain on the North Shore railway line . This side of the harbour offers panoramic views and the cheapest way to explore Sydney is with an explorer pass .

Equipment: Nikon D300, Nikon 18-200 lens, no filters, processed usin Photomatix HDR Software

My continuing experience with HDR is a learning one some tries work the way you expect sometimes they are a bit different… but hey it’s fun !

    Love the golden tones on the buildings. I know what you mean about HDR, I have found that you don’t always get what you thought you would. It seems to depend on the original lighting conditions when you take the shots.

    I’m finding that the more you do landscapes the more you become a bit of a weatherperson. This shot was taken last night Tuesday 6th Sydney time , i grabbed the camera because i could see the clouds,sun etc lining up. Was such great light. Thanks again tom

    golden rule, never forget to take your camera , you have to get youre priorities right that when you get into trouble with the girlfriend put the camera in the car before her lol oops
