I usually start with a wet in wet layer, let that dry and then build up further layers, sometimes up to 30 or more. Details are added with dry brush. The whole process takes a very long time … This one took about 100 hours.
Thank you! :-) I don’t seem to be able to do things quickly … even my drawings take months … Thank you so much for your support, I really appreciate it!
this also interisthing yo haveextremly concentration with your work ,...imaginatif ,....verry strong instinc you have you must be realy honest for yourself this is great mono watercolour with great details,...lovely !!!
looks like the waves and the water froze in mid air, like a drastict temp change and it froze , i love it…..........you do this with a lot of salt? Salt will do that texture also….just wondering?
No salt here, just layers of watercolour, there is an explanation of how I did it in the watercolour group forum “http://www.redbubble.com/watercolour-paintings/forums/2155/topics/20458-wet-in-wet”
