Retired many years from nursing. I live in beautiful Buderim, Queensland.I use a Nikon D5000.I like to capture natural settings, anything else that catches my attention.I also delve into digital art and mixed media – all self taught.
I remember this one! Shake my head on the hair! Good shot.
Thanks Judy! I’m not sure what these guys were doing, but they were lucky not to get caught, I reckon!

Oh my goodness! What a shot ~ what do you look at first ~ the white rat or that HAIR?!! Great capture, Margaret! Bev
I guess that’s today’s London! Thanks Bev.
I didn’t even notice the white rat at first — the hair is what stood out most for me. Rainey
Thanks for taking a look!
Very cool photograph.
Thanks Raphae! I’m not sure what these guys were doing, but they were lucky not to get caught, I reckon!
Great capture! Quite likely they were passing on drugs under the guise of something else. If they had seen you with your camera, such is their mindset that you could have been the subject of an assault. While for some these outlandish modes of dress might be nere fashion statement, in others it denotes an underlying personality disorder. I know that it is wrong to judge others, but in some circumstances, for your own personal safety, you have to make an on-the-spot decision. I was recently challenged while photographing an urban sunset. I had not noticed a rather dubious character lurking in the shadows, as my attention was focussed on the sky. He was about 50 years away, but he was convinced that I was photographing him! You meet some strange folk, when you are out iwth your camera!
Thanks for the advice Rose! I was aware that I could be in trouble, but I took the shot very surrepticiously indeed! I agree with your assessment of such people! Normally I would steer well clear of them, but this was to good to miss!
Sorry about 50 yards away. I was going to comment on his age, but decided not to bother. Fatal!
I have moments like that!
