The Maryvale Castle was built in 1916. It was home to Walter and Catherine Wickes. The couple raised 5 children in the large manor home that resembles the “Warwick Castle” in England. The home was named “Wickcliffe” In the late ’40’s Wickcliffe was given to the Sisters of Notre Dame DeNamur. It is now Maryvale Preparatory School.
