A baby elephant (Loxodonta africana) relishes the pleasures of flinging around the unweildy apendage that awkwardly flops from his face. It typically takes a young elephant about 3 years to fully master their trunk and to be able to utilize it’s full capabilities effectively. In the meantime, their awkward antics can keep an observer in stitches watching their struggling efforts to master the complexities of coordination and control.
