One of the things that never ceases to amaze me about the African bush is the way in which predators simply blend into the lanscape.
This cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) was in extremely close proximity, yet seemed to appear and disappear as he moved through the tall grass, as if by some conjurers trick. Only being able to see in black and white, this is the view from the prey’s perspective, greatly magnifying the challenges they face in avoiding predation.
