On the lookout for a meal, this incredibly beautiful cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus)was on a high point overlooking a large open plain. My favorite cheetah sighting, it allowed me the priviledge of sharing it’s space for about 20 minutes, all the while keen and aware of it’s surroundings, alert and primed to take advantage of the opportunity for a meal that might present itself.
