We came across this grey heron (Ardea cinerea) patiently hunting for its supper just as the daylight was fading on another glorious day in the African bush. Fortunately the low level bridge we were parked on was only moments from the gate at Shingwedzi camp, so were able to enjoy the last golden light before madly racing back to camp before gate closing time.
