This painting was inspired by a beautiful picture of Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth) I bought in India.
The blue ring represents water, the pink column of light is the lotus which Lakshmi is sitting on, the red lotus petals in my painting match the red sari she is wearing and the gold dots in the red lotus petals are the jewels and gold coins Lakshmi showers us with.
