light my fire and I’ll burn your lips
taunts the fading fog that we’re dealing with
swirling smoke swallows swarms of swallows
hammering heartlets, holding hopeful hammers
preposterous pencils piercing ponds of pork
fretting, forgetting flickers of flinging forks
initially inferring impatience impeding intellect
coursing crumpled courses of creatively claimed correct
denominations deferring those demonic dualities dancing
rapidly rinsing their rooted, rabid romancing
time ticking, torentially tormenting the tripping truths
smite, slithering stealthily, storming the smooth sides of civilization
jagged we are, jagged we stand
the only things jagged, created by man
our mind minces matter, to form its own form
mathematical shelters, to weather the storm
so foolish we are, thinking we can comprehend
the mind can’t wrap around what still has no end…
