Dancing

A Pause.
The music starts,
The beat matches my pulse,
Gives rythem to my heart.

My soul is on fire,
My legs move without care,
I feel no sadness,
Like I’m dancing on air.

Nobodys watching,
I wouldn’t mind of they were,
Because the music just takes me,
I’m flying, I soar.

But then when it ends,
That buzz is still in me,
It’s like magic, a drug,
It’s a born-again me.
