My passion is art. Art, in any form, is beautiful, as long as the artist has put effort into conveying a meaning.

My favorite form of art is photography, which I absolutely cannot get enough of! I could spend the rest of my life taking photos and staring at the photos of others (and I plan to).

To me, photography is meditation. Photography is solace. Photography is a catharsis. Photography allows me to express the things that I feel that I choose not to say out loud. Photography is my life.

I have been photographing for many years, but really got into photographing full-time in 2006. I feel that I haven’t set my camera down since then! I am a self-taught photographer, with some help from a couple of specific people, teaching myself the ways of the camera and the photo. I have to give a shout-out to Damien-C here, as he and his teachings have greatly helped to shape my style. I am always eager to learn new techniques, new equipment, and new photo locations.

I shoot with a Canon 60d and, most often, a Canon 18-135mm lens and a Canon 70-300mm lens.

Lately, my love for vintage and toy camera photostyles has led me to love using my iPhone 5…. With the right camera and editing apps, I can recreate the erratic and random appearances of the old cameras. And the best part, I always have my phone with me, so I am never without a camera!

The Power Of The Internet

This is my very first journal and I wanted to give a shout-out to all of you people. All of my friends here at RedBubble. / You know what I love about the power of the internet? Global harmony. Sure, there are TONS of people scouring the web bent on making life harder for people, but when something comes together in a working, melodic order, great things are bred. Mostly residing on my photograph…
