St Mary The Virgin, Minster In Thanet by

St Mary The Virgin, Minster In Thanet, Kent, UK is still an abbey church, situated opposite, and possesses some fine Norman and Early English Features.

Although the church is older the Nave dates from 1150 and the stone vaulted chancel from the 13th century with some fine 15th century misericords.

5 exposure HDR shot on a Canon EOS1000D and processed in PS8.

Lovely shot Dave – this is in my backyard and I haven’t visited – a must do now!

  • Thanks Bob – the inside is wonderful as befitting an abbey church
