Abstract capturing the energy and motion of fireworks.

Oil on stretched canvas. A thick white underpainting layer was used and color was knifed into the white to create complex textures and intense translucent sheets of color. Details were added by dotting direct from the tube and using cake decorating tools.

Original is roughly 36"x 40" on stabdard weight stretchers.
