I was very honored when my good friend Olga asked me to collaborate with her for a challenge yesterday. During the process, I was looking through Olga’s gallery and stumbled upon a beautiful image entitled Ring

It immediately reminded me of the scriptures where Jesus is telling us that we must become like little children and that we must become born again in order to see the kingdom of Heaven.

The precious hand of an innocent child along with the beautiful butterfly symbolizing profound changes of the soul just seemed to mesh together perfectly. I also really liked how the pattern on the butterfly’s wings was very similar in nature to one of my paintings. I merged them with scripture and added a few PS filters and this is the result of my own collaboration in addition to the challenge entry which Olga is working on. I have a color version but I preferred the black and white.
