I see this as a view of life through the eyes of a woman with a small child and an abusive husband. She has nearly lost hope but find strengh in the beauty of a little flower. Strengh to grow higher than the situation she finds herself in. The work has so much poignancy. It hurts to look at it.
Maybe my interpretation is totally wrong. Even so, it is a great work of art. Well done.
