It's Nothing Personal
Art, it is what it is. Just a quick painting done mostly with a napkin, my fingers and a knife. Acrylic on canvas with more of a watercolor effect – done very quickly and very roughly. A little something to clear my mind. Less is sometimes more.

You are so talented Ruthie! You are obviously anointed to paint!
Judy Crayton
Oh ho! I see we have a Mamma on line :) I agree with you Izzy.
I absolutely love this. The title could mean different things. Because of so many teen ager grandchilren right now … I see the vases as being Mom, Dad and teenage child about to leave the cradle. So different from the parents. Their differences being misunderstood as ‘right and wrong’ ... a child rebelling. But, it’s nothing personal Mom and Dad. God just made your child diffent than you.
This is one of my favority of all works.

I came back to relook at the painting. It is perfect. The flections on the table, The muted back ground. I can’t afford a picture right now, but I’m buying the card to be sure I don’t forget it :)

Less certainly is more! I have never seen this one before and it is just stunning! I could hardly believe it when you said mostly done with a napkin, your fingers and a knife. You are such an inspiring lady. I love how the flowers in the vase to the right just seems to glow and shine.
