I love the verse that inspired this. You did a great job representing it!
Ruth Palmer, about 1 year ago
Stacy,
Thank you! This painting is very important to me as is the scripture. The original was purchased by a lovely Christian couple who wanted to use it as a witness to their faith. I couldn’t have been more thrilled. We all need pruning. God Bless and thank you for adding it to your favourites!

This is an amazing beautifully captured piece of art. I really like the different views of the face and body. Really speaks volumes to how creatively artistic you are. Nice balance of colors and whites.Though I don’t care much for the religious verse it was based on,( or any religious verse for that matter) I still think that this showcases great talent in various types of art.

Thank you so much for your very kind comment depressedkat.
Each of us was born with free will and for me personally, all I know is that God gave me this gift of art… Without Him, I could never draw a stick figure… it’s exactly how it happened: I just woke up one morning in my forties with the ability to produce art after a year of fervent prayer for God to restore joy and purpose to my life.”
The ability to create art is one of the many gifts bestowed upon us by the Creator.
“and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship.”
There was no art school in those days. I firmly believe that It’s a gift, just like a beautiful singing voice.
God bless and thanks again!

Thank you so much Antoine. It’s so good to see you again and I’m glad that you are safe. So many earthquakes in your part of the world. I am so happy that my work blesses you. All of the glory goes to HIM!
