Autumn in the Farmlands by Ruth Lambert
Clear

Kentucky’s beautiful farmlands stand out in Autumn even as the leaves disappear, the autumn browns are a beautiful scenario of country life.

I love the colors of Autumn, the freshness of snow in Winter, the fresh smell of Spring rains, tree blossoms and it’s new life and the lazy, warm days of Summer!!

Lakes, rivers and streams are a refreshment to my soul!
Mountains bring me peace and a time of reflection

Great image Ruth, The fence provides a good frame and the shed is well placed between the autumn coloured trees. Well done.
  • Thanks Terry!!! I always appreciate hearing from you and receiving your comments!! This is a hugh ranch for raising Bulls…..has hundreds of acres of land —this is just a very small corner that caught my eye!!! Glad you liked this!

Gorgeous Ruth! I guess fall will be hading my way soon enough! Love the colors against that blue sky! ;]

  • Fall isn’t here yet (this is one of last year’s shots) but it’s not far off either!!! I noticed some poison oak leaves turning red this week—they are always the first to turn color!! I love Fall anywhere but I don’t like Winters in KY—- no snow and too drab and wet!!

    Beautiful Ruth :

Leaves still on the trees up here, just starting to change & the temperature still in the low 20’s (Celsius). Other years I’ve seen the leaves down by the end of September. Congratulations on your feature.

    Take Care.

    Bill.

  • thanks Bill!! We still have alot of leaves yet….still turning colors! I shot this late Fall of last season.
