A wonderful sight! Best shots are taken from the Bateaux Mouche going in the direction of La Tour Eiffe but thia one was taken from the quai of the Pont Grenellel!!

    interesting to see Lady Liberty in a different background than NYC

  • Yes! That’s true but the French made the original one on the Hudson river in New York harbour and gifted it to the American nation in the 19th Century.

    living in Portugal.. now for 2 anfd hoalf years.. where there is still a strong underbelly of poverty and the grim shadows lingering of the deplorable and dispacble fascist regime which over rin the country for almost a century.. stauatues of Liberty now hold a much greater sense of meaning for me. Liberty is really important. Without it we are damned!
