Black Sabbath is a 1963 Italian horror film directed by Mario Bava, originally italian titled I Tre volti della paura. The film consists of three segments, three different stories each introduced by Boris Karloff.
Segment two, The telephone has been considered as the first giallo filmed in colour. Starring stunning Michelle Mercier as Rosy, the call-girl. The story was completely different in the US release of the film because of its strong lesbian subtext which was too erotic for American audiences to watch at the time, so in the American version this segment was turned to a ghost story.
