hehe… this one isn’t new – I made it after the first or the second (?) spider-series painting and I really don’t know why I haven’t upload it before.

This is the 4th painting from a little series dedicated to all the nightmares I have with my worst fear: the spider

I am afraid of a spider too, that is why Laza eat the just like that! But now, beside that why do I look this image? Hm there are many reasons:(1) I love the way you draw, you are not presenting the human face completely realistic, it is more like a cartoon or so. (2) But that said, it amazes me how you can bring out emotions of fear so pure, strong and loud that I can almost here her scream. (3) I love the absent of colors just little bit red, golden, black used for shaping of her face and hair and white background, it makes it simple and clear way of expression – my favorite! (4) I love the way her eye is so unrealistic big and red on the edges, fantastic thinking! (5) Mouth is also done in a way that makes me love this image very very much. (6) I am watching this image almost 10 minutes, and I am going over every little detail, and to me everything is just pure professionalism. (7) Thank you very much for this pleasure!

You make me to go to see my painting for 10 minutes – I’m so thrilled with your amazing words Xenia, I’m thrilled. I hate spiders too – that’s why I have obsession to paint them xxx In the beginning I wanted to make my fictional faces more real looking and more and more and then I realize that I really don’t want them to be so real – you know what I mean? It’s not that the point. The most of the times I’m mixing colours and paints – even if it’s not so visible. It’s very hard to make it all look so clean – very black eyes/very white skin. It’s my challenge – I find it very difficult xxx About the eyes… ahhh totally inspired by Tim Burton’s style. I always wanted to make a face with those big eyes – they are really fun x mouth is totally simple and quick so your eye is going to her eye not to the black hole of the mouth – evil thinking hehe Thank you for this – I had time to see it from so close too. With so many paintings sometime I feel I have to see them for a year – my best to you xxx
