I did this painting because I actually saw in my dream last night a crow. I took it from some place that I don’t remember. I was holding it with my hands and I do remember perfectly that in a weird moment I turn my head back and the crow was sleeping. It was the most strange thing I ever saw in my life – I remember I was watching the crow sleeping and breathing exactly like it was a human or even closer, I was feeling like I was watching a little puppy breathing.

    Well definately Crow and Raven are animal guides for you. You put fictional before you described the dream so I guess it was not real….but then what is real :) Owl comes into my dreams and I seem to want to paint her in many of my works. This is stunning by the way!!!!!

    I’m writing “fictional” because the painting is from my head and not from a photo or something else.
    The dream was true… I mean I really saw the dream I’m writing while I was sleeping last night.

    wow!!! it’s unbelievable… I saw this image two nights ago in my dream… only it was rotated horizontally…. and looked at the other side…. and I was going to draw this image…. now I can just fav it:)) it looks perfect… exactly as I wanted!!!!

    I love this work very much! Not only that I don’t like this bird, but you made be be scared of it even more! So that means this work is perfect! And I love the brush strokes behind the bird very much. It looks like it just fly out from hell and sit there! Fantastic!
