Rui Rodrigues

Hi !

My name is Rui Rodrigues and i’m a 25 year old man, currently working in the Portuguese Air Force.
I mostly do Portrait photography, but i’m very interested in Nature photography, Macro and Artistic Nude photography.

The most remote memory i have from being in contact with photography is at the age of 5. My father and uncles loved to take snapshots of themselves and do Landscape photography too. So i got to take some shots as well…
I’ve never gave a big importance to photography up until 2006 when i started to read more, and more, and more about it.
In 2007 i bought a not very expensive Fujifilm s6500fd and started experimenting, and the love for photography continued to grow.
In that year, i did a photo for a demo-cd to the “Black Tyrant” band, and got a published photo on a Portuguese Photography Magazine – SuperFoto Prática.
In January 2008 i got the chance to get 10 photos in an exhibit, and decided i want to increase my knowledge in photography so i sign up on a photography school – Oficina da Imagem (starting September next).
I updated my camera and lenses to the Canon Eos 300 + 28-90mm + 75-300mm and since then i almost exclusively shoot film having preference with Fujicolor films – Pro160C and Sensia
