Timing is Everything

Last night I was up till late fiddling with the art in my computer. My stomach was upset so I was “back and forth” all night. I normally sleep early so I can start early. Even earlier this morning I woke at one o’clock to “run” one more time. Finally some relief but it was difficult to fall back to sleep. I popped in a meditation CD and set it to stun (a delta metronome) but to no avail. I checked that I had set up the alarm clock to wake me at 4:45am to get ready for work. I didn’t think I’d need the back up alarm clock this time. I was really tired and finally slept. I woke to the sound of my mobile’s alarm ringing. I looked over to the alarm clock to see the time was 6:25am? The alarm hadn’t woken me! EEEEK! I flew into my work uniform, grabbed the lunch I had prepared the night before, ran “back and forth” to see that I wasn’t forgetting anything and stuffed some breakfast into a “Tupperware” for breakfast in my job’s car park. I sped a little and made it on time.
Point of story: It’s amazing how you can fit what you normally do in 1 and 1 half hours into 5 mins of madness.
I know what your thinking too: I should have taken a “Sickie”.

Timing is Everything

I know this; same happens here in NY. One runs out of the house to catch train grabbing anything that you thought you prepared the night before…doesn’t happen..you get to work thinking you brought something in a plastic container only to realize it was sliced onions…..story of my life…too organized ,that when in rush, I grab anything.
