I am a Chef in Melbourne and have been in the industry for about 30 years, but now as I have reached the twilight years of my career I am now dabbling in photography with the hope of being able to project my eye for detail in food towards making a living in photography art. Having had a camera for as long as I can remember, my first being a Box Brownie, I have found the digital medium is a completely different format to work in and is not restricted to just producing prints on paper, but on different surfaces. Whenever I take a shot, I always think of the editing and the finished product that I am after. Sometimes I set my self a mission ; example chase a sunset, 800 frames later, I might just get one that I am happy with. Comments are always welcome
