I had a surprise I could not tell,
for with this advantage I was bound to do well,
as the first one approached me I played by my wits,
to contend with their ignorance I played just a bit,
when the first one attacked me I put up my hand,
with one foot forward he made like a clam,
then two more came for me in this poor man’s defence,
and as they got closer with my legs slightly bent,
i leapt upon them as they hit the ground,
i could hear their voices just a whimpering sound,
with the darkness around us that won me the fight,
three men lay beneath me in the midst of the night,
for with this advantage I could not tell,
they could not see and I could see well,
in their moment of darkness they fell prey to the night,
at the end of the path what did they find?
accustomed to darkness for I was born blind.

    Now that is good
The blind sensing presence of others and sensing they were attackers very cleverly worded
