Digital Killed The Analogue Star – or Digi-SkullHas digital killed analogue, who knows?(You can view the component graphics by selecting a light colour tee)
Get it on a sticker!
More hands and skulls:

I’m a t-shirt designing robot. I specialise in pop culture/movie parody, paying particular attention to movies from the 1980s, my era when everything seemed much bigger and brighter – but maybe I was just smaller and wider eyed!
Pleased you think so John!
nice design – I particularly like the lighting effect inside the palms – specky!
Cheers buddy, shame the preview looks a little dull though.
You have an entire movie plot in the palm of your hands with this one…
Cheers Sam, I was aiming for a touch of drama with this one.
ah! I see what you mean – nice one, looks great.
I think it looks better on the light tees when you can see the skull shape.Extremely well done!
Thanks Rusty. I planned it for black on black printing originally to add a bit of mood to the image.
i agree with zomboy, awesome lighting effect in hands!
Thanks Yannis, I’m pleased it looks like a glow.
RE: halftones – we don’t really need them for gradient color on RB, right? Its cool it has become a graphic effect unto itself.
RE:“analogue” — is the “-ue” suffix a British thing? I have a shirt called Analog Modernist referring to tape-recorded music and sound; is this correct usage? Wikipedia wasn’t much help.
Halftones are used purely to add to the ‘digital’ look for this. Us brits like to use the ‘U’ especially in ‘colour’ and ‘analogue’! Thanks for having a look.
I know ‘colour’ from too much martin amis and www.colourlovers.com. Was not clear if ‘analogue’ was for non-digital + music-related, or just British spelling. I almost titled that shirt "Analogue Moderniste’ but that was going a little too far.
Agreed on “digital” look – if it was just a smooth fade around the eyes it would not be as striking and machine-like.
Great design. :D
This is excellent (once again) RubyRed!I was around when video (almost) killed the radio star – you’ve made an astute analogy here with this version!I’m always curious to see what you come up with next!Nice work!
Thanks for you kind comment, I’m pleased the concept seems to have worked!
