Back Up Plan

Contrary to appearances, this “cutout” trompe l’oeil painting is completely two-dimensional, and is painted with both acrylic and oil on a 3/4 inch Finnish birch panel. Lighting allows actual cast shadows falling on the wall to match painted shadows.
