like the added top black ink? white areas/outlines and abstract painted shapes on top of your sublime under color washes, the center painted paste is so good… extraordinary blues!

  • The light was uncanny out on the more that week the river although up near its source it is really just a stream and had strong contrasting lights and darks. I naturally paint with a primary colour palette and build my layers, big shapes to little ones.

Richard, I’ve really been enjoying seeing this new series as it come through Solo.

This one has such an elaborate network of colors and lines.

  • I hope that the confidence in my mark making and understanding of my media is starting to show, this series revisiting the rocks and ripples ideas has been good. Thank you as always for your support.
