Canadian National "Mountain" 6015 by

4-8-2s U-1-a class called “Mountains” was the last of 16 built in 1923 by the Canadian Locomotive Company. These locomotives had 26 × 30 cylinders, 73" drivers, a 210 psi boiler pressure and exerted 49,588 lbs of traction effort. They weighed 354,110 lbs and were used on express passenger trains between Montreal and Toronto. The 6015 is on display at the Jasper station yard, Alberta.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, we moved out to the west coast in the early 70’s and fell in love with the scenery. There was so much to do and explore, having a camera with me just added to the experience.

I have recently put several of my recent works up for sale reasonably priced so others can enjoy them – at least till I become famous! (LOL)
