La Basilique du Sacré Coeur de Montmartre, Paris, France.
Pronounced [sakʁe kœʁ]), this is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Paris, France. A popular landmark, the basilica is located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city of Paris.
My husband and I visited in 2009.
Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Married with 3 daughters, 3 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. Retired elementary school teacher and travel consultant. Celebrated 50th wedding anniversary in 2012!
