What a lovely shot. Now tell me how did you get the black background? I like the contrast it has given which has made this photo pop!

Hi Sandra. That was done my “uneducated” way – I used the paintbrush in Photoshop Elements 9 and black paint! It is painstakingly done almost pixel by pixel! :) It’s the only way I know. I’m sure there is a better and faster method but, I am still learning so much about Photoshop! Thanks for asking! If there is an easier way, I’d love to know it! I don’t find the lasso much help. Maybe I don’t use it right but, I like my own touch. It feels like I am actually painting it. :)

  • Wow! That’s highly complimentary coming from one of my idols! :) Thank you so much, Yampimon! Nice to hear from you! :)
