Took this in my backyard. I followed her around the yard for half an hour. I don’t know which of us was more patient with the other, but she finally posed for this quick capture.

good shot.. perhaps may be a bit motiony on top.. wondering if using just a couple step up in aperture.. just to get the top wing in focus. Like the soft blur blended colors of the background. Getting your subject to lay in that focal plane is almost there. In comparison.. look at the blue flowers in the lower level.. the ones that are coming out towards us compared to the ones on the sides which has more detail.

Wonderful capture.. I know how hard it is to catch one in flight.. I just read the comment above, but think it’s all off, it’s the softness that makes this photo wonderful. Too sharp images are just photographs this is art and exhibits the motion of flight. Lovely truely lovely.

Exquisite shot. I especially like the double blossoms. The color adds quality to this already lovely shot. This goes immediately into my cherished collection of favorites. Wonderful work. I hope you enjoy my gallery as much as I enjoyed yours.
