It always starts the same.
A smell, a glance, even just the thought of it lingers in my nose and the world’s pretty-pretty colors vanish into monochromes like Lassie re-runs and hi-ho silver away.
The only color left is what I can smell, vapor and smoke like funnels of yellow and green and blue trickling from their skin and mouths.
Then fear grips me as I lose my grip and the pain starts and my fear is summarily replaced with excitement.
It’s an intense burning at first, then it reaches a level I’ve not learned words to elate.
The pain vanishes behind a mask of sensory overload as my muscles bifurcate and I can feel bones split and change.
Sounds turn to colors in my vision and the folk at my side become my prey, unawares of my true nature or intent.
They can feel it somewhere in their guts, a kind of copper in their throats that screams run, but humans are stupid and fat and slow.
I can smell their fear and better yet, I can smell their life’s spring.
A universal truth among beasts is blood, the quintessence that binds us all together in a sick flick theater of dead little marionettes.
I want to show them their true nature, show them what lies inside them and what courses in their weak little greasy bodies as I take what I claim as mine.
I am a monster and pity all who undertake the notion they can run because it only fuels my lust and I love the animal I have become.

I normally just stick to writing RPGs, but I have been running games for over 15 years now, you tend to get better at telling a story in short order.

I like this. It reminds me of a few songs actually, as well as a few movies. It reminds me of Metallica’s “Until it Sleeps,” Three Days Grace “Animal I Have Become,” and any of the werewolf/lycan/vampire movies. Very cool little story.

it’s all good, ive been playing so much fallout 3 I forgot to pick up milk for my coffee yesterday…its sad how easily you accept black coffee so you can keep on playnig with the Chinese Stealth Armor from the OA DLC

i passed on the terrible shotgun, Jack may be hard to get to on a regular basis, but he’s a GREAT trader and ALWAYS has good stock and lots of caps
You want a really nice gun? The replicated man quest allows you to get the android’s plasma rifle if you let him know who he really is, then offer to “take out” Zimmer and his goon. The android will give you his rifle, aside from it being a plasma rifle (sqwee), it has a higher damage capacity and resists being damaged better than a normal plasma rifle.
