I only got to know Helen for a short time, but in that short time she showed me that she would not back down from someone going against her Country and President So the Glenn Beck and Fox News Worshipers that praise God and Sara Palin and only want positive comments giving almighty thanks and deleting comments not agreeing with their slander got their wish they got rid of Helen, so praise the Lord and bow down and add to the ratings of Glenn Beck.
The one thing I can say bad about Helen, she could hold her temper better than I can.

Fucking sucks big time….the redbubble boot’s been stuck in, it’s been itching for an excuse for some time… but it’s the discrepancies in the way it meters out it’s so called ‘discipline’ that is inexcusable.
Helen too has put up with much shit over the past two years, living with blatant harassment and personal attacks on an almost daily basis. RB has rarely acted on upholding it’s own etiquette when it comes to those doing the harassing…their actions towards the attacks were many times nothing short of dismissive. What the fuck did they expect? Although she’s a woman who certainly knows how to hold her own… the rules, as they stand, should apply evenly to all….regardless of how well someone looks like being able to manage a constant barrage of crap ….If you get little back up, cracks are going to start to appear….But then it’s my bet it’s just what RB were counting on…..something surely is rotten in the state of RB.

Will miss her irrevocable passion for truth & justice, her art that speaks volumes and her incredible tenacity…
Will not miss her because, thank jeebus, I still know where to find her!

good ….she is a fighter, wont ever say was, because even tho the admin thinks they can rid her from this site and all the right dingers, they cant ever get rid of her permantely!!

i think the admin in the past two years didnt do her justice on standing up for her on the countless attacks made by many on this site. instead they just blew it off, and yes, i saw their responses in the emails sent.

This is totally totally WRONG!!!!!
Helen is honest, fair and smart enough and strong enough to hold her own in any fight – and now – the fact that she took it all for so long (OK – she gave back too ;) without complaining to RB is used against her to get her off the site!
Ever since I met Helen I found a person who was totally generous and wanting to engage in DEBATE TO INFORM – not indiscriminately abuse.
I will miss her on Red Bubble because I loved her intelligence and the strength and rigour with which she pursued any issue where she found unfairness and injustice. I think I will be spending much less time here as so much of my time was taken by enjoying the debate that Helen continually stimulated.
Helen is also one of the most generous people on RB I have met – she never hesitated to support me in my more difficult moments – and I just CANNOT believe that she will no longer be here to share times and tales and laughs with – just this morning (o – yesterday now…) I got my last bmail from her…..
But – I will NOT miss Helen. Can’t afford the phone bills to Kentucky, but there ARE lots of cheaper ways of keeping in touch that RB can’t take away from me!
An ‘artists’ site’ where the most intelligent debate is ‘dumped’ because someone else dobs????? Joke. Not.

How come I report a moderator of the defunct Love Is All You Need group for raceist comments on my poem and the response I got was to have all my work deleted and I get suspended. The moderator changes the name of the group and his account still exists… so raceists are ok on RB, but say fuck off and you get your account deleted. Count the Fuck Offs and see how many accounts would be left ....... Glad I kept all the emails ….... What happened to the RB agreement that states you have the right to arbitration before an account is deleted ??????????

Yes, we have guidelines and we try to keep within those boundaries. While being harassed as Helen stated she was from some one threatening her and her family those boundaries brakes as for most and every one of us.

Also, an aspect even RedBubble can’t live without as an art community. Art and artists rules and boundaries must always be tested to the limit it breaks. If not for the artists sake to find out her personal limits, but also to find out in what cultural environments she is playing. Without this constant struggle there would be no Bronte’, no Picasso, no Beatles, no Mozart, no you, no me ..

I have tried to keep my self out of this discussion because I do not have all the facts: I still like to know what art, in what group, by whom and what was said.

I love Helens honesty, compassion, her humour,,, and although I didnt comment on a lot of Helens written work, I read it,,, Helen taught me a lot, about the American culture and way of life. Great great great representation here for Helen, and its FUCKIN DISGRACE, that shes been removed, shes erudite, informative and a fucking good laugh, which ironically speaks volumes for RB now. Hi there folks, I hope this isnt seen as inappropriate, but i feel compelled to add this as my days here are numbered for my dissent in RB about Helens expulsion, its a bmail that was snet to me earlier today concerning a piece of writing on my profile called “Mecca for FUCKTARDS”, ive included my response, and I want to post it somewhere before i get the boot from here, sad sad sad, I hope ift doent happen but im doing it as a precautionary measure, so I hope you dont find it inappropriate in the context of Helens expulsion from here, if anything its an indicator of what happens when u dissent on RB about RB…............. *

I would just like to clarify my response to your latest writing.
It just saddens me so much that you seem to be sabotaging yourself here.
Redbubble is about so much more than just the administration.
I feel that by taking this stance and calling us all ‘Fucktards’ that you are wanting to get yourself reported and thrown out of redbubble to become a martyr.
I understand that you feel so strongly about this but are your actions really hurting anybody besides yourself.
Please reconsider your stance, you are such a fantastic artist and indeed I would miss you and your work.

I understand your position, but I think you are making assumptions, I didnt call anyone a “Fucktard” I just reiterated a quote. I do feel that there is a lot more obusive language used on RB, and as i have not personalised it, I dont understand your assumption. I dont take to being a “Martyr” Marilyn, and that saddens me a great deal that you would imply that as my reasoning here, perhaps if you asked me why I worte it we could engage on an open debate on the subject matter? Does RB now take a stance on Free Speech? I would like to see RB stance change on Helen, and I feel Im only exercising my right to opinion, no one has to look at my post, its not like I said it in a forum, its attached to my profile, and I’ll take responsibility for it. Please do not imply I am a playing the martyr, this site means a lot to me actually, but I think that the right to express opinion is key to artists, even if you dont like that opinion. Ive made a lot of friends here and frankly I dont want to leave, BUT, I have to ask the question in context to Helens expulsion “WHO IS NEXT?” because Ive spoken to Helen and she hasnt even be given the grace to voice her opinion on the site. If you had read some of my other posts on the subject, you might have been more informed as to the context here? Theres an awful lot of people upset by RB behaviour here, its frankly undemocratic, and “Anti Art” and its a shame that the admin cant resolve it as quickly as the introduced it. I am going to give it till the end of the month(that is if I am not deleted for speaking my mind before then?)and if no resolution has been offered to Helen I m leaving on grounds of principle and fear of where RB is going in the art community. It saddens me greatly Marilyn that you have decided to comment here and not on the other posts(not just from me)about Helens unfair ejection, she added an enormous quality to this site, and there are numerous people feeling agrieved at this approach the admin have taken to her. Have you made any attempt to contact any of the other dissenters Marilyn? Please dont confuse dissent for disloyalty on this issue, upto until a week ago I was singing RBs praises, and Id like to go back to that, but can the admin(of which I am assuming you are one?)take a step back and admit a large fault on there part? this remains to be seen?

I about to remove my art for sale… Though i can count on one hand what I have sold – i have however purchased a shit load! So they will miss me more than i will miss them!! That is my stance on this… as so many others have either left now or are removing their art… Maybe we can make a difference…
