Original charcoal and charcoal pencil drawing on clay, on Stonehenge paper, of a male artist at work. This drawing was featured in ‘ART UNIVERSE’, ‘Male Appreciation’, ‘Pouts, Poses & Portraits’, ’ Pencil Drawing’ and THE GROUP-GALLERY OF ART, and was voted into the top ten of the Pencil Drawing challenge ‘Last Pencil Drawing Upload’.
My style is contemporary whilst firmly rooted in realism. I work in a number of mediums, including pastel, charcoal and conte, pen and ink, gouache, watercolour, acrylics, pencil, photography, and mixed media, and am currently painting in oils. I find that changing and experimenting with mediums keeps me fresh and open to learning. I especially love capturing the human face and figure in oils, and photographing the urban landscape, including the amazing graffiti to be found in Melbourne.
