My style is contemporary whilst firmly rooted in realism. I work in a number of mediums, including pastel, charcoal and conte, pen and ink, gouache, watercolour, acrylics, pencil, photography, and mixed media, and am currently painting in oils. I find that changing and experimenting with mediums keeps me fresh and open to learning. I especially love capturing the human face and figure in oils, and photographing the urban landscape, including the amazing graffiti to be found in Melbourne.

It may be invasive but it sure is a pretty surrounding for those trees.

Even if it’s a pesky weed, Roz, it makes a beautiful picture! I really like the sloping of the hill with the two trees juxtaposed so well. – Pat

Very beautiful Roz, but I can see how it takes over the grazing land.
